    All about the bones!

    Dogs and cats have a set of solid molars and extremely strong jaws that enable them to crush and chew raw meaty bones such as necks, backs, wings, ribs and carcasses. Through the consumption of such bones, they are able to acquire an easily assimilated, natural form of calcium essential to skeletal health.

    Part of their daily feeding or as a treat to enhance their tooth, gum and jaw health.

    Raw Meaty Bones:

    Contain muscle meat, fat and bone. Raw meaty bones can be completely consumed. These bones are considered "soft bones" and do not splinter. Raw meaty bones are for supplemental feeding only and are not a complete diet.

    • Poultry bones Chicken Turkey, some Lamb and Elk Neck bones.
    • To be fed as part of an ongoing feeding program
    • Always monitor you pet when feeding raw meaty bones
    • Used for tooth, gum, jaw and cranial nourishment
    • Bones should be fed outdoors or on a cleanable surface

    *** Knuckle bones are soft enough to be consumed but do wear teeth, feed only occasionally.

    Recreational Bones:

    Contain muscle meat, fat and bone. Recreational bones are not to be completely consumed. Recreational bones are for supplemental feeding only and are not considered a complete diet.

    • Beef, buffalo , lamb and venison leg bones.
    • To be fed as a treat once every 3-5 days under supervision.
    • Always monitor you pet when feeding raw bones
    • Bones should be fed outdoors or on a cleanable surface
    • These bones are not recommended for heavy chewers

        Deliveries

        All orders must meet a minimum amount to qualify for free delivery as follows:
        • Lower mainland, Mission through to Vancouver - $50
        • UBC/Point Grey, Richmond, Delta, White Rock, South Surrey - $100
        • North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Abbotsford - $200

        The free shipping rules mentioned above are general guidelines, please refer to the delivery map above for full information on shipping rates to specific postal codes in Metro Vancouver. You can also download a PDF version of the delivery map. Currently all deliveries will take place Monday to Friday from 4:00pm to 8:30pm. Special arrangements can be made if these times are inconvenient. Our current schedule is as follows: Maple Ridge through to Vancouver, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Mission through to White Rock, Richmond on Tuesday and Thursdays.

        Shipping Elsewhere In Canada

        At this time we can only ship dry goods (i.e. Dehydrated Foods & Supplements). Due to the high cost of shipping, it is advisable to ensure your order is a minimum of $100.00 to justify the shipping expense. The cost of shipping will be your responsibility, but we will find the most economical method, depending on weight and your location. Canada Post minimum for small parcels is $9.00. Paypal invoices will be issued if we do not have your credit information on file.

        Due to the nature of our products please contact us for clarification and or pre-authorization of returnable goods. Restocking charges may apply, and we are not able to resell frozen goods.
